Aircraft sales and
acquisition advisory

Finding the right aircraft is an advisory task, not a brokerage task. From market analysis to technical inspection, from negotiation to registration and delivery, we run the entire process with a single point of responsibility.

Inventory

Aircraft currently listed

The list below shows the aircraft we track under a sales or acquisition mandate. If the aircraft you are looking for is not on it, we run an off-market sourcing search — a significant share of transactions is completed without ever being listed.

Scope

Buyer and seller,
represented separately

In any transaction we represent one side only. This removes the conflict of interest from the outset: whose interest we are protecting is always clear.

Buyer representation

We define your requirement, search the market and negotiate on your behalf only.

  • Aircraft definition and type recommendation based on usage profile
  • Market analysis and price assessment
  • Identification of off-market opportunities
  • Negotiation with the owner or broker
  • Coordination of technical inspection and condition survey
  • Transaction follow-up through registration and delivery

Seller representation

We take your aircraft to a global buyer network and manage the sale from start to finish.

  • Global marketing and listing management
  • Access to an international buyer network
  • Valuation and pricing strategy
  • Negotiation and structuring of the transaction
  • Buyer verification and proof of funds
  • Management of handover and title transfer

Process

How does an acquisition
proceed?

Six steps. The output of each step is put in writing; you always know which stage you are at and what the next decision is.

01

Needs analysis

Annual flight hours, typical routes, passenger numbers, budget and your operating preference are established; the aircraft type and class follow from these.

02

Market search

Both listed and off-market aircraft are searched. For each candidate, age, hours, maintenance programme and registration status are compared.

03

Valuation and offer

A price range is derived from comparable sales, and the offer structure and terms are set together with you.

04

Technical inspection

A pre-purchase inspection is carried out at an independent MRO; records, LLP status and AD/SB compliance are reviewed.

05

Contract and escrow

The purchase agreement is drawn up with legal counsel; payment is handled through escrow.

06

Registration and delivery

Change of registration, importation and the delivery flight are coordinated; we follow the transaction until the transfer is complete.

The inspection is independent

The technical inspection is carried out by an independent MRO selected on your behalf, not by a shop proposed by the seller. The inspection report goes directly to you, and the findings are taken to the negotiating table as they are. What transfers with an aircraft is registration, not a title deed — if the country of registration changes, importation and airworthiness are planned as a separate step.

End-to-end support

No transaction is completed
single-handedly

An aircraft transaction requires the technical, legal and financial parties to meet on the same schedule. We coordinate those parties.

The transaction then proceeds safely, without delay and in line with international aviation standards. When each party steps in is planned from the outset.

  • Aircraft operators — operating and management options
  • FBO service providers — delivery, parking and ground handling
  • MRO organisations — inspection, maintenance and compliance work
  • Aviation legal counsel — contract, registration and importation
  • Financial institutions — financing and escrow structures
Common questions

Frequently asked questions

The aircraft I am looking for is not on the list — can you still help?

Yes — a significant share of transactions is completed with aircraft that were never listed. Send us your usage profile and budget; we run an off-market search through our owner and broker network and bring you suitable candidates.

How does the commission work?

Which side we represent and the size of the transaction determine the commission structure. The rate and what it covers are set out in writing before the mandate begins, and do not change during the transaction.

Who carries out the technical inspection, and who pays for it?

The inspection is carried out at an independent MRO selected on your behalf. The cost is usually borne by the buyer; items that need rectification are reflected in the negotiated price or assigned to the seller.

How long does a transaction take?

For business jets, once a suitable aircraft is found, inspection, contract and registration typically take a few weeks. For commercial aircraft, and where the country of registration changes, importation and airworthiness steps extend the timeline.

Purchase or charter?

Your annual flight hours are the deciding factor. Below a certain threshold, charter is usually more economical; above it, ownership becomes worth considering. We compare both scenarios using your own figures and present them in writing.

Do you also operate the aircraft after purchase?

No. Gazali Aviation holds no AOC and does not operate aircraft. We do, however, coordinate the search for the operator, maintenance organisation and ground handling provider for your aircraft.
